Vegan Red-Lentils-Zucchini-Burger

I know, I know – I vanished quite a long time – and yes I´m still alive! The last couple of weeks were pretty stressful and turbulent. But here I am with a fresh delicious recipe. I developed it a few days ago when I was very hungry and tried to be creative to make me a delicious dish. And it turned out very good.


What I made were baked potatoes with red-lentil-zucchini burgers and guacamole. You know how to make baked potatoes and guacamole I guess (if not let me know) so I only give you the recipe for those delicious burgers.

Vegan Red-Lentils-Zucchini-Burgers

  • 1 cup red lentils
  • 1 zucchini, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon buckwheat flour ( you can use any four you like)
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder
  • 2 tablespoons dill, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • optional: oil

Cook lentils together with three cups of water until soft. Combine them with zucchini, onion, spices, flour and dill.


Make small burgers out of mixture. Now you have two choices how to go on. You can heat oil in a pan and fry the burgers until each side is golden brown or you can put them into the oven at 200 degrees for 15 minutes, then you turn them and bake them another 15 minutes.


To bake them is better for your figure then to fry the burgers of course but both versions are very delicious!




Raw Avocado Soup

Raw Avocado Soup


  • 1 avocado
  • 1/2 onion, copped
  • 1 handful fresh spinach
  • 1 handful cherry tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon aniseeds
  • juice of 1/2 orange
  • salt & pepper
  • water

Blend avocado, spinach, aniseeds, orange juice and water.


Sprinkle with chopped onions and cherry tomatoes.



My Raw Food Oscars – Cashew Garlic Spread & Brazil Nut Chives Spread/Dip

Okay, let´s go on with my Oscars Watching Buffet. Last time I told you how to make that delicious raw food bread. Of course you need something to put on it. So let´s go on with the two spreads I made.

They are very easy to make. The only thing you need is a blender.

Cashew Garlic Spread

  • about one cup of cashews
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • the juice of half a lime
  • salt & pepper
  • some water if needed (not too much)

That´s it! You can use herbs as well. I decided not to because my second spread included herbs.

Blend together all the ingredients until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Enjoy with raw or any other kind of bread, crackers or dip in sliced vegetables.

Brazil Nut Chives Spread

  • 1 cup brazil nuts (soaked over night – 8 to 10 houres)
  • 1/2 cup chopped chives
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • salt & pepper
  • some water if needed (not too much)

Blend together all ingredients until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Enjoy with raw or any other kind of bread, crackers or dip in sliced vegetebles or dehydrated vegetable chips. This dip works very good with celery chips!! 🙂

My Raw Food Oscars: Broccoli Hemp Bread

Yesterday was a very delicious evening for me. And I am about to give you the next recipe of my Raw Foof Oscars Watching Buffet – Broccoli Hemp Bread.

You will need a dehydrator for making it. There are cheap and there are very expensive dehydrators you can buy. I was lucky to get a very expensive one very cheap because my dear friends Laila and Enrico went first to Bali and then to Costa Rica. I used the Excalibur:

It´s very good but you can also use a cheaper one of course.

Broccoli Hemp Bread

  • 1 cup chopped tomato (I used cherry tomatoes)
  • 2 onions (spring onions would be good as well)
  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • 3/4 cup hemp seed
  • 1 1/2 – 2 cup chopped Broccoli
  • 2 cups flax flour (grounded flax seeds)
  • 1/2  cup fresh herbs (I used basil, chives and parsley)
  • sea salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Ground your flax seeds. Put all the other ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth. Combine with flax flour.

Spread mixture on two dehydrator sheets. You could also use baking paper. Spread thin but not too thin as you want to have bread not crackers. (You could easily make crackers as well if you spread very thin and dehydrate longer until crisp). After about 6 to 8 hours, flip bread. Let dehydrate for another 5 to 8 houres.

Temperature: There are different opinions about the right temperature while dehydrating raw food. Personally, I don´t go over 115 degrees. Some suggest 105 to make sure the food doesn´t get too hot. It´s up to you I think but the less temperature the better.

My Raw Food Oscars Watching Buffet

YES, I am watching the Oscars!!!

I am a big fan of good movies! That´s why I love to watch the Oscars every single year although I have to stay up till very late hours here in Germany.

For this year I decided to make a delicious & healthy buffet for the show instead of potato chips and other junk food.

All I made is raw so I won´t reply the word „raw“ for every single dish. What you can see in the picture are:

  • Brownie Bites with Vanilla Frosting (recipe I found on another blog although I changed a few things)
  • Coconut Ice Cream
  • Broccoli Hemp Bread
  • Cashew Garlic Spread
  • Celery Chips
  • Brazil Nut Chives Spread/Dip
  • Chia Pudding with Vanilla Cream

The first and one of the easiest I will write down right now.
Coconut Ice Cream
All you need is:
  • 1 Baby Coconut 
  • Agave Syrup/Nectar
If you never opened a Coconut you´ll find some useful videos how to do it easily on Youtube.
Open the coconut, drain the water and scoop out the flesh. Put the water and meat into your blender and blend until smooth. Add agave nectar to taste. Pour into ice cream maker.
If you don´t have an ice cream maker you can easily freeze the blended coconut in your freezer – but then you have to stir every 30 minutes until the ice cream is ready.
That ice cream is melting on your tongue so soft and creamy! You´ll love it! Promised!

Mc Stupid Against Veg Delicious

Who needs a stupid clown when there are avocados and eggplants?? NOBODY!!! Try this out – it´s worth it, I swear!!

Avocado-Eggplant-Burger or Burger Delicious

What you need:

  • 1 eggplant
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 or 2 tomato(es)
  • oil
  • paninis or any kind of roll/bread you like

for the sauce:

  • 1 garlic clove
  • some dill (you can also use other herbs like parsley aso.)
  • 100g soy yogurt (I used Alpro)
  • 3 table spoons mayonnaise (I used Life free from egg free Mayo)
  • 1 tea spoon lemon juice
  • 1 tea spoon mustard
  • salt & pepper

Slice the eggplant in thick slices. Put some oil in a frying pan and fry the eggplant until golden brown.

Slice the avocado and tomatoes in thick slices too.

Chop the garlic and dill. Mix with the other sauce ingredients.

Slice the paninis. Put some sauce on each side. Put your burger together with two – three slices of each – eggplant, avocado and tomato. Enjoy! 🙂

You can use fryed pepper as well or mushrooms. Play a bit with the variety of vegetables on this earth and you always have your delicious burger on the table! 😉

Wer braucht schon´nen blöden Clown wenn es doch Avocados und Auberginen gibt?? NIEMAND!!! Probiere das hier mal aus! Ich schwöre es ist den Versuch wert!!!

Auberginen-Avocado-Burger oder Burger Delicious

Was du brauchst:

  • 1 Aubergine
  • 1 Avocado
  • 1-2 Tomate(n)
  • Öl
  • Brötchen deiner Wahl, z.B. Paninis

für die Soße:

  • 1 Knoblauch Zehe
  • etwas Dill (du kannst auch andere Kräuter wie z.B. Petersilie benutzen)
  • 100g Soja Joghurt (ich habe den von Alpro benutzt)
  • 3 Esslöffel vegane Mayonnaise (ich habe Life free from egg free Mayo genommen)
  • 1 Teelöffel Zitronensaft
  • 1 Teelöffel Senf
  • Salz & Pfeffer

Die Aubergine in dicke Scheiben schneiden und mit etwas Öl in einer Pfanne goldbraun braten.

Auch die Tomaten und Avocado in dicke Scheiben schneiden.

Knoblauch und Dill klein hacken und zusammen mit den anderen Zutaten für die Sauce vermischen.

Die Brötchen aufschneiden. Auf jede Seite etwas von der Soße geben. Jetzt jeweils zwei Scheiben Avocado, Aubergine und Tomate auf die Unterseite legen. Oberseite drauf! Fertisch! 🙂

Du kannst auch gebratene Paprika oder Champignons benutzen. Spiele ein bisschen mit der Vielfalt an Gemüse die diese Erde für uns bereit hält und du wirst immer´nen leckeren Burger auf´m Tisch haben! 😉

Something raw in between… with a lot of chocolate :)

When I posted this picture on facebook so many friends asked me for the recipe. So here I am writing down what I did to create that delicious cake and I hope you´re going to try it yourself as it is very, very good and easy to make!

Raw Chocolate Cream Cake

for the crust:

  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup walnut flour
  • 1/2 cup cranberries
  • 1/2 cup (a little more maybe) coconut butter

for the cream:

  • 2 cups cocoa powder (or to taste)
  • 1 1/2 cup coconut butter
  • 1 cup coconut flower syrup (or to taste)
  • half a pear

Mix all the crust ingredients until well combined. You can do it by hand as well as with a blender. Press the dough into a springform pan. Place in the fridge for about 2 hours.

Blend all the ingredients of the cream in a blender until smooth and tasty. Place onto the crust. Place in the fridge again for about 4 hours.

Als ich dieses Foto bei Facebook geposted habe, fragten viele meiner Freunde nach dem Rezept. Deshalb schreib ich jetzt mal auf was ich gemacht habe um diese leckere Torte zu „basteln“. Und ich hoffe ihr versucht´s selbst mal. Das Rezept ist wirklich ziemlich einfach und vor allem lecker!

Rohe Schokoladen-Creme-Torte

für den Boden:

  • eine Tasse rohes Kakao Pulver
  • 1/2 Tasse gemahlene Mandeln
  • 1/2 Tasse gemahlene Walnüsse
  • 1/2 Tasse Cranberries
  • 1/2 Tasse (eventuell etwas mehr) Kokosöl

für die Creme:

  • 2 Tassen Kakao Pulver (oder nach Geschmack)
  • 1 1/2 Tassen Kokosöl
  • 1 Tasse Kokosblütensirup (oder nach Geschmack)
  • eine halbe Birne

Alle Zutaten für den Boden zusammenmischen. Man kann das sowohl mit der Hand als auch mit einem Blender machen. Den entstandenen Teig in eine Springform pressen, ein paar Zentimeter Rand stehen lassen. Für ca. 2 Stunden in den Kühlschrank stellen.

Alle Zutaten für die Creme zusammen mixen, so dass eine glatte cremige Masse entsteht. Auf den gekühlten Boden geben. Glatt streichen und für etwa 4 Stunden in den Kühlschrank stellen.
